The 2018 Sparkling Riesling is crafted in the Traditional Method (Méthode Champenoise) and is fermented in the bottle to create the deliciously delicate bubbles. This fresh, lively, dry sparkler is the perfect way to kick off the celebration, or to enjoy with summer BBQ while dining under the stars!
Hints of chalk, white peaches and notes of exotic spice on the nose, followed by a burst of fresh apricots, pineapple and mango on the palate. The finish is brisk, dry and refreshing.
The grapes were basket pressed, and the juice was gently transferred to stainless steel tanks for a primary fermentation. This sparkling wine was crafted in the traditional method. In early 2019, the wine was bottled, and yeast was added as part of the tirage to induce a secondary fermentation. The wine rested en tirage a year to create fine bubbles. A final dosage at disgorgement was added to finish the wine in a brut, or dry style.
